1. Who is responsible

Story Driven Ventures (SDV), operated by Shiloh, is responsible for the personal information it collects for its own inquiries and services. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or requests.

This notice covers this website and the forms and resources offered through it. External providers also have their own responsibilities and privacy notices.

2. Information you provide

• Project inquiries: your name, email, company, website, role, project needs, goals, previous efforts, budget, decision-making authority, timing and any additional context you submit.
• Samples and assessments: your contact details, business or brand information, LinkedIn information where requested, and answers to the opportunity scan.
• Newsletters: the information you enter when subscribing and your subscription preferences.
• Working together: correspondence, agreed scope, approvals, billing and other information needed for an engagement.

Please share only what is relevant. General inquiry forms are not intended for passwords, payment-card details, sensitive personal information or confidential materials requiring an NDA.

3. Technical information

Hosting and service providers may receive your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, timestamps and security-related information when delivering the website or a service you use. Newsletter providers may also process email opens and link interactions under their own settings and policies.

We have not installed standalone analytics or advertising pixels in this website’s code. This does not mean that external services collect no technical or usage information.

4. How information is used

We use information to assess project fit, respond to requests, provide requested samples and assessments, discuss or deliver services, manage business records and protect the website. We send newsletters or book updates when you request them. Completing a project inquiry or loading an embedded form does not itself subscribe you to marketing emails.

Where a legal basis is required, processing may be necessary to take steps you request before a contract, perform an agreement, comply with legal obligations, or pursue legitimate interests such as responding to inquiries and keeping services secure. We rely on consent for marketing where required. You can withdraw that consent; withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful beforehand.

Information is handled by relevant providers when you use these features. Their notices describe their processing, including any uses for which they act independently of SDV.

Links to Amazon, Cal.com, LinkedIn and other destinations take you to external websites. Review the privacy notice there before providing information.

We may also share information with professional advisers where necessary, or where required by law or reasonably needed to protect legal rights and security. An inquiry does not make your answers public on this website.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The project inquiry, newsletter signup and book checkout load directly on their respective pages. These features connect your browser to Tally, beehiiv or Lulu, which may receive technical information and use cookies, local storage or similar technologies under their own policies. Hosting providers may also use storage for security and access.

You can manage or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking storage or third-party content may affect forms or checkout. External websites and newsletter email tracking are governed by the relevant provider’s settings and privacy notice.

Sample and assessment form answers are sent to Formspree only when you submit those forms.

7. Retention and security

We retain information according to the purpose of your request, any resulting engagement, necessary business records and applicable legal requirements. Retention can differ for an unsuccessful inquiry, an active client project, a subscription and financial records. Providers may retain records under their own policies, and deleting a provider record does not necessarily remove correspondence or copies held by SDV.

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no website, email or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us if you believe information connected with SDV has been compromised.

8. International processing

Our providers may process or store information in countries other than where you live, including the United States and countries in Europe. Privacy protections can differ between countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements apply to the relevant processing. Contact us for information about a particular service or transfer.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails through the unsubscribe link, manage cookies and site data through your browser, and contact us to update your details or make a privacy request.
